|Enniskillen 3nd XV
||8 - 24
Enniskillen’s league winning Third XV side of last season will be disappointed to have suffered a 24-8 defeat to Omagh last Friday night at Mullaghmeen.
Indiscipline presented an uphill battle for skins as in the first half Jonny Wright was sent to the sin bin before Stephen Tummon then received a red card early in the second half after some choice words with the referee, this proved to be too big a challenge in the end against a solid Omagh side.
Skins defensive structure was lacking at times and will be a major area to work on as Omagh scored the majority of their tries beating the defence out wide on the outside.
There were positives to take from the result too however with the return of Tim Law and Stuart Bradshaw who both had strong games in open play and Boa Johnston also coming back into the fold at prop and scrummaging well throughout, Dale McClean also had a solid game at centre.
This team certainly has the potential to reach the heights of last season with perhaps some more time together to develop a rapport, and hopefully in the coming weeks we’ll see an improved performance from the side.
