Enniskillen U15's 33 vs Limavady U15's 5
On Sunday the Skins U15 girls hosted Limavady U15’s and from the kick off Skins showed excellent intent and were avid to get on the scoreboard from the start. Carrying a lot of ball through Prop Jenna Love and Rosie Daley they gained substantial ground but couldn't get over Limavady's try line due to some admirable defence. The first try of the game came against the run of play when Limavady got out of their own 22, probably for the fist time in the game, and ran in an unconverted try in the corner. This seemed to kick start the Skins girls and they started to apply their game plan more effectively, working through their pods and sucking in defenders at the ruck, and then utilising quick ball out to the backs through scrum half Katie Clarke, who had a fantastic game. This wrought rewards fairly quickly and allowed No 10 Nadine Hunter and Centre Zara Flack to run in a converted try each, converted by Nadine to leave the score at half time Skins 14-5 to the good. Limavady kicked off the second half and both teams put in 100% effort with Skins making many line breaks through the pace of Katie Clark and Rhiannon Dolan, and with them always having support players on their shoulder it allowed some destructive offload, eventually setting up Fullback Miller’s converted try. The next try came from Katie Clark, following a nicely worked turnover at the ruck the Scum half picked and went through a gap in the Limavady defence and ran in a great try. Limavady tried to get back into the game but the Skins line speed and tackling kept them at bay. The last try of the game came from Second row Rhiannon Dolan who cut open Limavady's defence and out paced everybody to cross Limavady's try line for a converted score, leaving the final score, a 33-5 win to the Skins Girls, a great result for a team who is progressing well throughout the season.
