On Saturday past an impressive 4 Enniskillen girls were selected to represent Ulster Under-18's at the interprovincial blitz in Westmanstown. Unfortunately in their first game they lost by two tries to a very strong and more experienced Munster side. However, they came back fighting in their second game against Connacht to win 12-7. All 4 girls played key roles in the win, with Claire Boles at No 8 carrying a lot of ball and putting in a lot of last gasp tackles, also picking up a try in the Connacht game. Tamanika Millar's Strength in the Front row helped to dominate the scrummaging contest in both games, along with a high tackle count in open play. Out-half Rebecca Pennell dictated play well and marshalled her back line expertly while Ellie Ingram ran some outstanding lines and looked comfortable with ball in hand. The side now face a tough test against Leinster this Saturday at Portadown RFC, kicking off at 2pm.
