7 girls travelled to University College Dublin on Sunday to take part in an IRFU initiative called #TrainWithUs. As part of the initiative the girls were treated to several games of scintillating 7's action, including Ireland victories over China and South Africa as well as Japan beating Holland.
After this the girls had the chance to meet some of the stars of the Irish ladies team, who took the girls for a training session in front of the packed UCD 'Bowl'. Following this the girls then played a brief match against a club side from Dublin, winning 3-0 with tries from Claire Boles, Ellie Ingram and Rebecca Pennell. To round the day off the Irish ladies team's nutritionist gave the girls a talk on what foods they should be eating and when, in relation to playing rugby. The girls rounded off the day by soaking up some more 7's action before having to leave for Enniskillen. All the girls and the coaches thoroughly enjoyed the day out and were given special #TrainWithUs rugby shirts as a lasting memento.
