Mini rugby at Enniskillen runs from early September through to the end of April, with a break for a few weeks over Christmas and New Year.
The age groups fall in line with school year groups and start with the P3s (Under 7s) going up to P7s (Under 11s). These age groups will train or have matches on Saturday mornings, with the odd game on Friday night.
The Year 8s, first year at secondary school (Under 12s) also come under the mini rugby umbrella but we have found that it works better to run this group with the Youth Section, which trains on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm.
Sessions run from 9.15-10.45am depending on the weather.
The Club aims to introduce the kids to rugby in a safe and fun environment. There is little or no contact in the first year or two, with the emphasis simply on general movement, passing and catching, coordination, balance etc. As the kids progress through the years they learn to tackle and more contact is introduced.
Everyone gets to play on match days.
Girls are very welcome and to encourage them to join there is a discounted rate for membership.
All our coaches have attended or are waiting to attend IRFU coaching courses run by the Ulster Branch. Most of them have kids of their own playing.
Gum Shields must be worn for all matches and training sessions.

Male Playing (1st child) £50
Male Playing (2nd child) £40
