Three of Enniskillen Rugby's 1st XV featured last weekend as Ulster Juniors claimed the Interprovincial Series with a 34-15 win in their final fixture against Leinster, played away at Longford RFC. Front rowers Gareth Beatty, Ryan Cathcart and Alan Ferguson were all retained in the squad following their win over Connacht the previous week, while star winger Robert Baloucoune was forced to withdraw after suffering a broken wrist. Leinster proved one of the toughest contests for the side so far but Ulster deserved it on the day. The Skins contingent played a prominent role with the scrum dominant in the first half due in no small part to Beatty at tight head, while Cathcart and Ferguson made a substantial impact coming on in the second half to stop a Leinster reprisal. All in all it was a very dominant series for the Ulster side, picking up two bonus point wins from their three fixtures to take the Interpro Cup.
