Four Enniskillen Men Feature in Ulster Juniors' Continued Unbeaten Run

Four Enniskillen men took the field last weekend as Ulster Juniors steamrolled their Connacht opposition 34-5 down in Ballina, leaving Ulster with 2 wins from 2 going into their final interprovincial fixture, and a chance to take the series. Winger Robert Baloucoune, along with the Skins front row of Gareth Beatty, Ryan Cathcart and Alan Ferguson all featured. Beatty and Baloucoune started the fixture with the winger playing a pivotal role in two first half tries and putting in a huge defensive performance, while Beatty’s scrummaging and work around the park was exceptional. Cathcart and Ferguson came on in the second half and injected much needed energy into the game as the big Connacht side began to grow in confidence, Ferguson maintaining the standard at the scrum and carrying hard while Cathcart threw well at the line out and tackled tirelessly.
The Juniors now travel to Longford RFC this Saturday to face Leinster with a win confirming the side as interprovincial series winners.
